NEWEST GENERATION ONE-STAGE IMPLANTATION, IMMEDIATE LOAD

Even a jaw completely without teeth can be restored quickly.

One-stage implantation of teeth allowing immediate load (protocols Zygomatic, ‘All-on-4’ or ‘All-on-6’) is a modern prosthetic method supported by implants if jaw atrophy is chronic, periodontitis advanced or bite changes have occurred due to the long-term absence of teeth.

The main advantage of the technology is that in 100% of cases bone plasty is avoided and the patient will have complete functional teeth restored within a couple of days.

The clinics belonging to Zaga Centres use the most modern technology to restore teeth, which makes it possible to manage cases that were considered hopeless not long ago.

The protocol involves implantation of titan roots into middle part of bone and into the deep basal layers where no resorption or inflammation occurs. This is an ideal option for quick restoration of the function and aesthetics of the dental arch when three or more adjacent teeth are missing or there are no teeth at all. The prosthesis construction will be installed immediately.

The one-stage installation technology of implants with immediate installation of the prosthesis. In the case of classic implantation, the titan roots are ‘screwed’ into a prepared lodge in the alveolar ridge. In ‘All-on-4’ and ‘All-on-6’ technology, the implants are installed into the strong cortical plate. These implants are longer than standard models of tooth implants provided with aggressive thread and provide atraumatic placement and good stability of the implant in bones.

Zygomatic implants are used in the case of severe maxillary bone atrophy when the patient has no other options. The implants are introduced into the zygomatic bone, which provides firm support for the teeth.

Implant attachment reaches 97-99%.

We work with implants from Noris Medical (Israel) and Straumann (Switzerland). These are systems that have been good for complete restoration of the dental arch.

Our qualified specialists resolve all problems quickly at every stage of treatment.

During the first stage immediately after the installation of tooth implants or on the day after the surgery, we fix a temporary metal-plastic rigid reinforced prosthesis, which may last for up to five years. Therefore some patients do not hurry to order the permanent construction immediately after osteointegration of artificial roots and save money during that time for a high-quality permanent prosthesis. Other types of temporary (adaptive) orthopaedic constructions must be replaced in 3-6 months.

Rigid reinforcement minimises the risk of fracture or cracks in the temporary prosthesis and avoids overload of the implants. This is very important as the success of ‘All-on-4’ technology directly depends on the rigid coupling of all implants (this reduces the risk of rejection).

When the implants have attached (after 3-6 months) or at any time within five years (according to your wish or a doctor’s prescription after prophylactic examination), the temporary construction will be replaced with permanent one.

WHAT DOES THIS PROCESS LOOK LIKE?

First visit (approximately 30 minutes):

Consultation – patient's examination, interview and provision of information; choice of implant system and implant placement method.
Diagnostics – complex examination (orthopantomogram, CT with 3D tomography). Treatment of teeth and gums (if required), cleaning the whole oral cavity, 3D surgery planning.

First day of treatment (approximately 3 hours):

Extraction of fractured teeth
Placement of implants immediately after removal of teeth
For each individual patient, a metal-plastic prosthesis is made for the next post-operative day taking into consideration their specific dentition characteristics.

Second day of treatment (approximately 30 minutes)

A temporary prosthesis is attached on the implants (permanent prosthesis is installed after six months).
The position of the prosthesis is adjusted for maximum comfort.
Rules for care are explained to the patient

After six months:

Depending on the method ‘lower 4, lower 6’ a new prosthesis is required, i.e. permanent orthopaedic construction must be installed after the titanium roots have completely attached to the bone surface.
